What is Reiki ?

Reiki is a gentle hands-on healing technique with no religious influence.Reiki is a Natural Healing System that any one can benefit from and learn.The word Reiki means "Universal life force" and it is this energy that is used to heal and balance the patient physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Everything within and out us is made of energy and we are all part of one great energy field. It is this flow of energy that sustains life and it is believed to flow through the body via meridian pathways/chakras ( spinning wheels of energy).It is the disruption of these energy pathways,often caused through stress and tension,that cause the onset of dis-harmony and disease. Regular Reiki treatments or sessions can help to restore and balance energy levels . A reiki treatment affects the body,mind,emotions and spirit.Each one is as important as the next,the goal being to bring the whole body into a state of balance and harmony.

Origin of Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki:

In the mid 1800's Dr.Mikao Usui started his search for a healing formula that would work.The quest to find and learn the skill of healing took him 10 years.He spent a lot of time in prayer and meditation and found the formula for healing and named it Usui Shiki Ryoho. Dr.Mikao Usui gave the Master/Teacher Attunement to sixteen people including Dr.Chujiro Hayashi, who was responsible for keeping the essence of Reiki alive after Dr Usui's death. Dr Hayashi opened a Reiki clinic in Tokyo where he demonstrated through research that Reiki identifies the source of physical symptoms and restores the body's energy equilibrium. He used this information to create the hand positions,the system of the 4 Degrees, and the Attunement procedure. When a great war dawned on his land, Dr.Hayashi passed the complete Reiki teachings on to a woman named Hawayo Takata. She fled the war, ended up in the USA and so Reiki was spread.

What is reiki?

Mikao Usui developed reiki in the early 1900s, deriving the term from the Japanese words rei, meaning “universal,” and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Now, reiki is used all over the world, including in hospitals and hospices, to complement other forms of health treatments.

Can reiki replace traditional treatments?

No. Reiki treatment should not be used as a substitute for the consultation of a physician or a psychotherapist.

How does reiki work?

"Reiki practitioners act as a conduit between you and the source of the universal life force energy. The energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to you.The patient determines the energy flow from the practitioner’s hands by taking only what they need,” . “This helps the patient know that we are supporting them only in what they need rather than what we think they need. This makes it the perfect balance to meet the patient’s needs.”

What happens during a reiki session?

Reiki treatments typically last about 60 minutes. During a session, you’ll lie on a massage table fully clothed, as your reiki practitioner gently places their hands, palms down, on or just above your body in specific energy locations. They use a series of 12 to 15 different hand positions.

“The length of time that the practitioner leaves their hands in each position is determined by the flow of energy through their hands at each location,”

What does reiki feel like?

“You may experience the energy in the form of sensations like heat, tingling or pulsing where the Reiki practitioner has placed their hands.” “Sometimes, people feel sensations moving throughout the body, while other people do not perceive any change at all.”

Most people feel very relaxed and peaceful during reiki treatment, and many fall asleep during the process.

The class / training has a theory and practical aspect and includes a attunement = attunements / initiations form a series of permanent energy linkages, via guided meditation, that further expands and illuminates you spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically and links you directly to the Level of Reiki you are learning. Each Level up enables you to tap in to and use higher healing Frequencies and vibrations. Each attunement further opens up your psychic abilities.

How will you receive the Attunements?
All Attunements are facilitated In Person or Online, or Remotely, via Zoom Meeting or Telegram Call.
Duration? Each Attunement Session is approximately one hour long, and will be spaced apart (depending on the amount of processing time required between each Attunement), ranging from one week to two weeks.


How to proceed?
*Once you have submitted a class / lesson - request via Email, Whatsapp, or Phone Call ( links found bellow ), you will receive an email / Whatsapp invoice from me *Once payment is received, you will get an email / Whatsapp with available time slots for the Attunements. ​​Note: my time zone is GMT +2.
*When the times are agreed, you will receive your e-Manuals or Physical Manuals for the Training and Attunements.
*All Attunements are facilitated at 4 Level, Level 1 - self healing, Level 2 - Self healing, Level 3 Masters or practitioner Level, Level 4 - Masters / Teachers Level so you can immediatley start teaching your own students after Level 4 or start seeing your own clients after Level 3.
*You receive a Attunement, Certificate and / or E-Manual / Workbook for each Program, Theory and Practical.
*Duration each Level is about 3 to 4 hours long.


After Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki one is eligible to move on to the next Level or next step up: Karuna-ki Reiki
